How does Rosacea Treatment work?
The rosacea treatment is based on innovative technologies, which is aimed to eliminate underlying causes of the problem of this condition. Intense pulsed light (IPL) or specialised lasers are used during the procedure to minimise redness and the appearance of dilated blood vessels. The laser light promotes collagen synthesis and natural tissue regeneration, as it penetrates deeply into the skin. This process lessens inflammation and improves the texture of the skin.
The rosacea treatment not only lessens the severity of the symptoms but also prevents their future appearance. Additionally, the procedure promotes recovery of the skin’s natural tone, by reducing uneven pigmentation and improving overall appearance of the skin. Our specialist creates the treatment plan to each patient’s unique requirements, which guarantees comfort and effectiveness all the way through the course of therapy.
Consultation with a specialist
Before starting the procedure we advise to have a consultation with our specialist, who will analyse your skin condition and determine the best locations for treatment.Keep Your Skin Hydrated
Prior to the procedure, it’s critical to keep your skin well hydrated. Make sure you apply your usual moisturiser and stay hydrated. But a few hours before the procedure, avoid applying any creams or oils on the treatment area to potential interference with the equipment.Avoid Sun Exposure
For at least 2 weeks before the procedure, it is important to avoid both direct sun exposure and tanning (both natural and artificial). Skin that has been sunburned or tanned may be more susceptible to problems.Stop Using Specific Skincare Products
At least a week before the treatment, stop using any products that contain acids (such as glycolic or salicylic acid), retinoids, or powerful exfoliants. These may increase the sensitivity of your skin to lasers.Avoid Certain Medications
Unless directed by a physician, blood-thinning medications such as aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided a few days before the procedures.Avoid Alcohol and Spicy Foods
We advised not to drink alcohol and eat spicy food for a few days before the procedure because they may cause flare-ups of rosacea.Reduce Physical Activity

Pregnancy and Lactation
Laser treatments are generally not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the effects on the baby are not fully studied.
Active Infections or Inflammation
It is contraindicated to have active infections or inflammatory processes in the treatment region.
Usage of Aggressive Medications or Retinoids

Skin Infections and Open Wounds
Rosacea treatment is not recommended for anyone with any infections, wounds, cuts, or skin damage because these conditions could worsen the treatment.
Immunosuppressive Medications or Conditions

People who take blood thinners (such as aspirin or warfarin) or have blood clotting or bleeding disorders should exercise caution because these diseases can impair the skin’s ability to recover.
History of Skin Cancer or Precancerous Lesions
To make sure laser treatments are safe for you, discuss any history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions with your specialist before beginning any treatment.
Flare-Ups of Rosacea
We are not recommended to do this procedure during an active flare-up of rosacea. It is advised to hold off on starting treatment until the inflammation reduces.
Recent Cosmetic Procedures
You need to have a consultation with our specialist before starting rosacea therapy if you have recently had other cosmetic procedures on your face, such as injections, peels or microdermabrasion.
