IPL Rejuvenation

IPL Rejuvenation (Intense Pulsed Light) is an innovative and effective laser procedure that uses light pulses to promote skin renewal processes and enhance skin look. This technology can treat several skin conditions in a single session since it makes use of a wide range of light wavelengths. The process is non-invasive and safe, because the light only reaches the skin’s surface layers without destroying tissue.

This therapy breaks down melanin-producing cells, which promotes progressive skin renewal, improving the appearance of the skin and addressing issues such as pigmentation, redness, enlarged pores, fine lines, and uneven skin tone. IPL Rejuvenation is suitable for both young and mature skin, which shows signs of ageing or the effects of external factors (sun exposure, stress).

How does IPL Rejuvenation work?

IPL Rejuvenation procedures usually take 15-40 minutes, depending on the treated area. TWe start the procedure with deep cleansing of the skin and then the problem area is treated with intense pulsed light (IPL). This procedure effectively solves a variety of skin conditions, such as redness (rosacea), broken capillaries, enlarged pores, acne and post-acne markings, fine wrinkles and uneven skin tone and texture. These light pulses absorb melanin or blood vessels , which cause them to break down or dissolve. Then the lymphatic system naturally removes these leftover particles, or the body sheds them along with dead skin cells. IPL Rejuvenation is safe and targeting only the afflicted areas, without damaging the surrounding healthy tissues. Patients during the procedure may feel some warmth or tingling, mostly report minor discomfort.

After the first session you can see visible results, especially in the cases of pigmentation and vascular problems. On the other hand, multiple sessions are advised for best outcomes. Slight redness or swelling may happen after each session, but these side effects normally go away in a few days. Skin improvements become after 1-2 weeks. In addition, the skin gets firmer and fine wrinkles are smoothed out since IPL encourages the creation of collagen for more younger skin appearance.

Contraindications for the Procedure
Increased Skin Sensitivity
People who have conditions that cause sensitivity to light, or who take medications that increase photosensitivity (such as certain antibiotics, retinoids, or chemotherapy drugs), should avoid laser treatments as they can experience heightened skin reactions.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Laser treatments are generally not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the effects on the baby are not fully studied.
Active Infections or Inflammation
It is contraindicated to have active infections or inflammatory processes in the treatment region.
Usage of Aggressive Medications or Retinoids
Retinoids and other aggressive skincare treatments should be stopped several weeks before the procedures, because they can exacerbate skin sensitivity.
Propensity to Form Scars
Laser Skin Rejuvenation should be avoided by people who are prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring, as the process may cause the production of new scars.
Recent Sun Exposure
Tanned or sunburned skin is more sensitive and can react poorly to the laser. It’s recommended to avoid the procedure if you’ve had significant sun exposure in the last 2–4 weeks.
Skin Infections and Open Wounds
Laser Skin Rejuvenation is not recommended for anyone with any infections, wounds, cuts, or skin damage because these conditions could worsen the treatment.
Implants or Fillers
If you have recently had dermal fillers or implants in the treatment area, consult with our specialist. Laser treatments can interfere with or degrade these materials.
Immunosuppressive Medications or Conditions
Patients with compromised immune systems, whether from HIV or corticosteroids, may have difficulties healing after procedure or experience delayed healing.
Bleeding Disorders
People who take blood thinners (such as aspirin or warfarin) or have blood clotting or bleeding disorders should exercise caution because these diseases can impair the skin’s ability to recover.
History of Skin Cancer or Precancerous Lesions
To make sure laser treatments are safe for you, discuss any history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions with your specialist before beginning any treatment.
Age Restriction

IPL Rejuvenation is only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Minors are not eligible for the procedure, as hormonal changes during adolescence can affect hair growth and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
